In case anyone was still doubting global warming is a scam....and the people pushing it

...you see, the more money we give these "developing" countries....the more money they can give China to build them more coal plants

"Chinese government officials used the United Nations climate conference, COP27, on Wednesday to promote the idea of climate “compensation” from developed countries to poorer nations, but balked at the idea of China being among those compensating."

"China is by far the world’s most prolific carbon emitter and polluter in general, responsible for prodigious amounts of waste tossed into the ocean, ecological destruction in the South China Sea, and tremendous increases in coal production and consumption in the past two years. China is also a global leader in rare-earth mineral mining, a process that devastates mining and processing sites with chemical waste."

"being the second-largest economy in the world and its worst carbon emitter, China has managed throughout the years to carve out exceptions for itself in global environmental projects. It is, for example, a signatory to the Paris Climate Agreement, but the deal formally allows it to increase carbon emissions rather than forcing it to commit to a reduction."

"Beijing has thus dramatically increased coal production and purchases, which will likely lead to an explosion in carbon output in the near future."

Indeed, Corrie. All you ever need to know about ANYTHING is who is pushing it.

Globaloney warming? algore's personal wealth was one million when he left office in 2001. Now it's north of $200 million. Coincidence? Good investments? Government pensions?

Yup its all a hoax. The push for electric cars is about control and ruining our freedoms and energy not about protecting environment!!

China is a police state and they are pushing them and guess what they are building coal power plants. ANd coal is so much much much worse to burn for environment than refining oil and gasoline let alone natural gas!!

And it will take so much more power and thus fossil fuels to charge electric cars. And the communists know that and you will be stranded with no power to even charge those cars with no fossil fuels.

In fairness, if 3 buddies go out drinking and a 4th joins them later in the night....it's not exactly fair to try to stick them with 1/4 of the tab so to speak.

This has been the attitude of a number of developing countries including India and China.

It's more than a scam... it's the effort of China & Russia to corner the reliable energy market while destroying western economies.

of course they are the biggest polluter, they have 1.4Billions vs 300 millions american. if we divide the total carbon emissions by the population, china is 0.25 of US. also they are the world factory, and factories run on alot electricity.
and yes they are consider developing world, their Gdp/cap is 0.2 of US.

beside we been doing industrialization since 19th century, china/india just started few decades ago. its like you asking the late comer to pick up equal share of tap. furthermore west is much richer compare to china/india gdp/cap base. and all our stuff from amazon/walmart is made there.

China is also installing more wind power than any nation. They don't seem to care where the energy comes from, as long as they have it.

I don't know if Xi is going to take China to greatness or destroy them, but one can't argue they have the potential to be a global superpower. I suspect it will be the later, because communist countries who push out capitalism generally fail over the long run. It's a tough call. The billionaires can become a problem and buy out a nation over time, so I can understand why Xi wants to keep them in check, but I don't believe in authoritarianism, and concentration of power, period.

Lets check in on Biden’s (or whoever the president is) Climate Charlatan, John Kerry:
Quote:
Kerry’s plan to finance the renewable energy transition in vulnerable countries by allowing companies to pay for someone else to cut their planet-warming emissions, instead of cutting their own, raised concerns among climate experts. Many have warned that selling carbon credits could discourage companies from making real cuts to emissions.

“We desperately need money,” Kerry told CNN. “It takes trillions and no government that I know of is ready to put trillions into this on an annual basis,” he added.
trillions? Just think how long the war in Ukraine could be prolonged with that kind of money
