Many of the people working in those food processing plants are in violation of US law.
Normally complaints about illegal labor are met with accusations of racism.
Who do you think is sending them to work, maybe we should arrest their parents and deport all of them?
The fault is the company that is violating child labor laws. The law is clear.
If there are parents who are forcing them to work then they will be punished by child services. How do you know that parents are even in the picture? That a big assumption that I would not be so quick make.

Silent?
Sounds like your circle isn't talking about it, or doing anything about it, but there are a LOT of people working to end child trafficking.
If you're interested, maybe you too can get involved?
The point is that they are being killed.
Is all you care about that they are Spanish speaking?
Blame the victim. And they are victims, mere children.
And you think I’m cold?
Obviously the point went right over your head. They are illegals being forced to work in factories under dangerous conditions because they were able to walk into our country illegally because you and people like you don't think that we need a border. Just like children being sold into sex traffic.

I think children should not work in meat packing plants and the company is at fault. The blame lies mostly with them.
It’s that simple.
The border is less important to me.
I Believe your anger is misplaced.
You blame the lack of border security and I blame the company.

So, what would you do, at this point?
You've got masses of children and unassociated young men crossing. Would you load the children back up on busses and dump them back further in to Mexico, say, 100 miles and drop them in a village?
What would stop this, is if employers would stop hiring undocumented workers, and if they were fined very heavily or had their professional licenses taken away.
THAT would stop - at least the influx of young men - today.
To say that the Left doesn't care about child trafficking is just purposeful hoodwinking. Maybe a good thing, is look around and see how you can help the Left's effort to end Child Trafficking as your Christmas mission?
There's lots to do, including helping escort children at airports.

So you don't want federal immigration laws enforced, just some other ones.
Company may not have violated the laws if they have false paperwork or used a sub-contractor.

I want child labor laws enforced. The company clearly violated the law. They have been warned for a long time that they were using children.
How is that a bad thing.
You actually think the company did nothing wrong? Wow. Just wow.
ETA : and concerning immigration laws, Unaccompanied minors must be accepted at rhe border- it’s the LAW. And I agree with the law.
