Bingo!!!, why do people act so surprised. DeSantis and other GOP contenders are going to have a rough time on their hands trying to get him out the picture. That man is just built different. Probably easier to just let him run for 2024 this way he is done by 2028 if he wins; however, knowing Trump he will figure out way to get his children elected to continue the brand in the office. Will be fun to sit back and watch the fireworks.

I will not lie...he is entertaining.

Not sure this kind of talk helps Republicans in general but you know --- it makes for a good story or giggle.

I'm amazed at how many of his supporters seem like they are seeing him for the first time. It reminds me of that scene in Field of Dreams where the brother-in-law all of a sudden sees the ballplayers on the field. They had been there all along but he was simply too closed minded to be able to see them.

This has been Trump all along. Remember the debates in 2016, when he had a stupid nickname for every other Republican candidate on the stage? Why are you so, so, so surprised all of a sudden by his juvenile, self-serving, destructive behavior? It's probably his most prominent character trait.

If Desantis were to primary Trump Desantis would win easily. But then Trump would act like a 5-year-old and demand none of his supporters vote for Desantis.

He's the spoiled kid that takes all his toys home if he can't get what he wants.

The bad news for the GOP is that he will also take many of the MAGAs with him. If he had deliberately set out to destroy the Republican party he couldn't have done any better than he has. That mission is nearly accomplished.

Nah. Trump is clearly dimmer.

Look at what he said - "I endorsed Youngkin" and "Youngkin is only average". If you can't see how truly stupid that is as a political move, well, there's no hope for you.

But, it's just who he is, remember in 2016 he attacked other Republicans - Little Marco (who he accused of election cheating because Rubio beat him in several election primaries...so I guess it's not only the Democrats who 'cheat') Lyin' Ted Cruz (Trump said his Dad Killed JFK and that his wife was ugly.)
Rand Paul (the guy looks and acts 'weird' Trump said).....

Trump is a narcissist that needs constant attention and admiration to feed his ego. As that narcissistic supply begins to dwindle as the GOP abandons him, he is likely to resort to more drastic measures to stay relevant. This includes throwing stones at opponents from his very own party.

We tried warning you all back in 2015/2016 that Trump was a toxic individual that didn't belong anywhere near the white house. You all buried your heads in the sand. Even more bizare than electing Trump, was watching almost the entire party bow down to Trump in fear of alienating the fringes of their party. Anyone recall what happened to Liz Cheney when she dared hold Trump accountable?

It's quite hilarious watching the post midterm GOP meltdown. Even Fox News appears to be turning their back on Mango Mussolini. Unfortunately for them, Trump is a part of their brand, and will be until the more logical and moderate Republicans are able to take back their party and get rid of the MAGA extremism.

The GOP made a deal with the devil in order to gain short term power. Good luck convincing independent and moderate voters that the MAGA extremism is behind you in 2024, ESPECIALLY if you run someone like Desantis.

I'd better go stock up on popcorn. The next couple years promise to be quite entertaining.

I don't find him entertaining at all. I find his behavior obnoxious. Such an insecure little man.

There is no way Trump would run with DeSantis. He can't stand the thought of someone else taking away any of his glory. If they were standing side-by-side, he'd probably pinch DeSantis while nobody was looking.
