I have been voting just about exclusively 3rd party.

I did straight Republican this time for the first time, just to break up the power.

How do you get to decide I am "on the left"? I most certainly DO NOT live in my own little world, dear--pretty damn far from it--and I've said plain as day many times on this forum that I don't and never have voted a straight ticket according to one party. I am 64. Was a registered Republican from the age of 18 to the age of 53, and then registered as a Democrat, both times for specific reasons that had nothing to do with aligning with one party.

Just stop with the constant division and this obsession to pigeonhole everybody and put them in a nice neat little box so you can point fingers at it and loftily declare that you know what's inside. That's half the problem right there. That drive to hang on so tightly to that Us v. Them mentality is what creates the very blindness you demonstrate in your above post.

Sing it. This is the truth at its core. They love to divide us, but they are all basically the same people with different labels. Their ONLY goal is to get their job and the power and money that comes with it, and after that, to KEEP that job.

By 2032, I doubt Republicans will ever win the presidency again. And the math to support that is pretty straightforward.

Every two years between election cycles is a double whammy for the GOP. 1. As The Silent Generation and Boomers die off to old age, the GOP loses more and more of their strongest and most reliable voting base. 2. Gen Z is adding more and more Democrats every election cycle as kids turning 18 nationwide are increasingly liberal. And we just saw a historic turnout from Gen Z last week.

The future for the Republican party beyond the next 10 years into the 2030s looks VERY bleak, and I think deep down...most conservatives know it.

I never said either party really cared. I'm not sowing any of this mess. The fact is, most Americans, despite not having confidence in the 2 party system, don't have any faith in voting 3rd party. When you get comments like "you wasted your vote", that says alot.

This is what I'm talking about. Blacks would vote for a racist, if they had a D next to their name. YOU JUST ADMITTED IT, so stop trying to claim I'm saying untrue things.

Ummmm....have you read your own posts?

It's not rocket science when someone fawns over Biden and constantly attacks any and all Republicans.

Then you would have to apply this to Whites and everyone else in America as well. Most people regardless of ethnicity are beholden to political party. This isn't a function of stupidity. This is a function of not trusting anything or anyone outside of their in-group. Alot of White people voted for Trump, twice, despite his insufferable character.

Most Blacks who vote Democrat do so because NO ONE ELSE is giving them a reason to vote for them. It's "pick the least jerk-like of the jerks". Most Americans don't trust voting 3rd party. WE HAVE TRUST ISSUES, NOT STUPIDITY ISSUES. You referring to Black people as stupid further solidifies the lack of trust many Americans have towards one another.
