Look, I just finished writing a literature review, not my first & I hate them - but even at that entry level step you can manipulate your research to go down the path you want it to; either through absolute omission or using surface data. And when you won't get any push back from the journal to which you submit, you know exactly how to tailor it all.

Mask do reduce the effects of pretty privilege though lol. In all actuality, pretty privilege is one of the largest forms of bias and privilege in our society.
