They don't have mail in rural America?

This could have been posted in the early 70's under Nixon.

I'm just reading a bio of Kissinger and now I know why there's was high gas prices, energy shortages and long lines at the gas stations and high inflation.

The Saudi's were punishing us for sending arms to Israel in their fight against Egypt.

And high inflation raged right thru the 70's and energy shortages.

And why didn't Nixon go drill, drill, drill?

No, it's not. Really. There are a lot of things you could've said there, and you chose the most meaningless thing to voters that you could've. Nobody cares about January 6. Seriously. Get over your obsession.

Desantis is NOT trump. He is competent.

The red trickle proves otherwise.

Repug's will have the Electoral College on their side.

The R nominee for POTUS has lost the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 general elections.

Or, it's an indictment of the runaway capitalism which rules the USA.

Well if we are going to get all scriptury, no God is not in control of this earth. Not that he doesn't have the ability to be, but control was turned over to Satan. And that has never been so obvious as it is in this day and age. We make the the dark empires and civilizations of the past look like cotton candy. I refer to it as "sanitized satanism."

The GOP literally tried to kill the USPS because they wanted to help corporate interests. Without a functional mail service, rural America would have a much harder time getting and sending mail. At least cheaply. If there are any problems with this, it was yet one more self-inflicted wound.

Well first the Democrats would need to find someone competent to run and not the clowns that ran last time.

People keep saying that vote count BS and it means nothing. It is irrelevant in the context of this mid-term election.

You can't take legislative control if you only have a 3-4 seat majority in the House. The Democrats control the Senate. The GOP is split, and the split is getting deeper after this election. Kevin McCarthy, or whoever is the GOP House speaker, will not have a united front in his camp. The more voters hear from the extremist Freedom Caucus the fewer votes GOP candidates will get. The more they mimic Trump's lies the fewer votes they will get. The GOP is indelibly branded as Trump's party until it repudiates Trump and extremists. Instead of legislative control, the GOP will fall back on its obstruction and gridlock strategy. Voters are tired of that as well.
