Yes, these leftists are such hypocrites, aren't they? You will only get crickets from that poster though. She'll just ignore the facts you posted.

I'm all for it, but the President has no (zero, zilch, nada) power to put term limits on Congress.

You mean you don't get the difference between an EO that affects how an Executive branch department carries out its job, and a command by the President to limit how many terms members of the Legislative branch can serve?

I am all for term limits but Trump would have no power at all to do that. He is just pandering to his base.

Congress has to vote on it and 2/3rds of the house and senate would have to say yes. Or 3/4ths of the states would have to vote for it.

Hes full of it as usual but in theory it’s a great idea. This archaic document written by people during an age where leeches we’re cutting edge technology and witches were real definitely needs an overhaul and brought up to date with the current year. There’s too many clowns in government with private business. Elected government service should have never been a damn career

They didn’t have stock market, corporate crooks in mind when the constitution was written not did they have uzis and machine guns

That is not true. In most races one party has a strong majority in the district or state. As long their party supports them they don't have to primary they will easily win reelection. The whole thing is rigged.

Trump cannot do an EO to create term limits in Congress. It requires changing the constitution which has to be approved in congress or 75% of states. If it was that easy Biden could just repeal the 2nd amendment with an EO. He can't do that and Trump can't create term limits with an EO.

And if we are going to go there as far as EO's by POTUS. Obama had the least amount of EO's per year of any present since Grover Cleveland. Trump had the most of any president since Jimmy Carter (Biden's numbers are for less than 2 years he might end up passing Trump)

https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/stat...ecutive-orders

EO's per year:

Biden 59

Trump 55

Obama 35

Bush 2 36

Clinton 46

Bush 1 42

Reagan 48
