Biden Affirms: “I Will Eliminate Your Student Debt”

Everyone knows that wasn't going to happen so why even go there?

I guess if Trump really wanted to push it he could just go the same route Biden tried..

We need term limits on federal judges because we don't vote for them. Congress can be term limited by voters. Apparently the people in long-serving pols' districts like Grassley don't want to term limit them. So it should not be up to Trump to tell them what to do.

Oh I'd love it if he somehow got term limits imposed
He's just not going to do it.

in that scenario which do you believe is more likely:

A) that 2/3 of the house and senate would impose term limits on themselves

or

Please explain exactly what he could do about it. Because I see no constitutional way that he could be anything more than a cheerleader.

Setting aside the legislative/constitutional issues the limits should be on the senate and shorter terms-a state gets stuck with the sos for 6 years, 2 years longer than a president. Only have to campaign once every six years. If one is an insider like McConnell or Schumer it's too easy to get re-elected. PA is stuck with Fetterman for 6 years.

But the point is moot.

Nobody can “promise” this. Congress has to do it, or there has to be a Constitutional Amendment.
