Relax, you'll still be able to kill your child legally.

Luke Skywalker "I don't understand how we got by those troops. I thought we were dead."

Obi-Wan Kenobi, "The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded."

Weak-minded fools, indeed.

Ditto election 2020... election 2012... election 2008... election...

Honestly, if you believe this, I have a bridge to sell you. There is a poll on this site that tells why most people think that the Dems earned such good results this cycle.

If anything, their loan forgiveness program backfired on them and (maybe) cost them votes. It certainly didn't do them any favors and CERTAINLY didn't "buy them the win".

More than anything, I think you can credit Roe V. Wade, Jan 6th, DJT, and Other Election Deniers for turning away people who would otherwise have voted red.

There's no telling how many of these 43,000,000 lenders were swayed, but its safe to say it was in the Millions.

I really doubt the Russians swayed Millions of votes, but how many trials & impeachments did we have over that over the past few years?

The Pubs need to be buying ads right now to leverage up their betrayal by the Dems, & ask for their votes in '24...strike while the iron is still hot.
So when every GOP politician ran on repealing Obamacare for over a decade but didnt? thats fraud as well. This is way to silly to even entertain.

2024 shapes up as a real barn burner.

I'm sure that it was no accident that a couple months prior to the election, Biden and the Dems promised that student loans of up to $20k would be forgiven if they just sent Dem candidates to Congress. Oops , now that the election is over, it appears that Biden/Dems had no constitutional right at all to deliver on such promises even though they were told repeatedly that they couldn't do that. I'm sure that it was all just an innocent mistake and that the Dems had no idea that Biden couldn't wipe out student loan debt.

Now that the election is over and the deception of the students and former students has been successful, the Dems are planning on which lies they can tell prior to the 2024 election to obtain votes and keep their failed candidates in office.

A person might think that the students (and their parents) would be pi$$ed at the Dems for lying to them about the student loan forgiveness. But don't worry, they'll fall for the same or similar promises in 2024. Ballot cattle never seem to wise up. Rinse and repeat.

"About 40 million Americans with student debt are now in limbo following an appeals court's stay on Friday that put a halt — for now — to President Biden's student loan forgiveness program.

Already, 22 million people have applied to the program — designed to forgive as much as $20,000 in student debt per borrower — since the application went live earlier this month. But on Friday, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay in response to an emergency motion brought by attorneys for several Republican-led states.

The ruling has prompted questions about what the stay means for borrowers — especially those who have already applied for debt relief — and what may happen next as legal challenges unfold. The court's roadblock may increase financial anxiety for borrowers especially as the student debt repayment hiatus, instituted during the pandemic, expires in December. That means repayments are set to begin again in January

Never really was a "promise" but rather outright deception from the get go.

At the time all over the disability forums and other youtube financial advice content providers i follow(in particular clear value tax) people asked about it and expressed large amounts of anger at Biden for that lie. Yet 2022 comes along and ads start popping up(once again)how the Repubs want to steal your social security and end it. And people buy into it once again and vote Dem over that fear. In other words your average voter is ignorant, stupid and most importantly has a VERY SHORT MEMORY.
That's what the Dems thrive on... ignorant ballot cattle and short-term memories. It keeps the 20's something voters blindly hoping the promises are real this time and some of the 60's something voters scared that the mean ole Republicans are going to stop their Social Security checks. Sure wish these voters would wake up and smell the coffee, but unfortunately, I don't think that's likely to happen.

Nothing new here. Both sides do it. What do you think the tax cut for the ultrawealthy was for in 2017? Buying campaign ads.

Very manipulative way of campaigning.

Pelosi even stated that in 2021..that the President does not have the authority.
But once he did it in 2022 she was utterly SILENT on the matter. She knew that as well.
And even with that manipulation she's outta there.

The GOP just won the House.
