That was my fear also. It can happen.

If they do this and unsuccessfully, you probably gave Trump a second term. The best course of action is just to ignore him and let him fizzle out under his own craziness

People think Trump is a "threat to democracy" yet have no problem with our open border policy which IS a threat to our democracy.

House Democrat proposes Trump be disqualified from office as an 'insurrectionist'

Rep. David Cicilline, a Rhode Island Democrat who served as a House manager for the second Trump impeachment, is circulating legislation that would seek to bar Donald Trump from holding federal office again under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment -- language meant to block former Confederates from serving in Congress and regaining power.

"'Under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, "No person shall ... hold any office, civil or military, under the United States ... who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States .. to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof,'" he writes in his letter to colleagues, citing the relevant amendment.

One problem... they said it wasn't an insurrection. Not that any shred of truth would stop the Dems...

They don't want Trump nowhere near the presidency, and they don't trust the American people.

As much as people like to claim Trump is done and finished, they sure don't act like it...
So by 'Dems' -- you mean this one House Democrat?

OK.Bet it doesn't go anywhere.

Does it really matter if they “have the right to decide who I can or can’t vote for” ?
They do what they please and have hand picked judges to allow that.

From a Biden Press availability this week at the G-7 :

And so, what I find is that [the G-7 leaders want to know: Is the United States stable? Do we know what we’re about? Are we the same democracy we’ve always been?

Q So the entire genesis of that G7 conversation was tied to your predecessor, who is about to launch another campaign. So how do you reassure them, if that is the reason for their questioning, that the former President will not return or that his political movement, which is still very strong, will not —

THE PRESIDENT: Oh, yeah? (Laughs.)

Q — once again take power in the United States?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, we just have to demonstrate that he will not take power by — if we — if he does run. I’m making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our Constitution, does not become the next President again.

None of the Press dared to question Biden on his claim that even if Donald Trump does run for President — Biden promises that he will be stopped.

In other words — Votes don’t count.

I laughed when I read that Trump threw his hat in the ring. Half of me thinks he did it just to p*ss off the Dems even more....and it sure worked.
Nobody is scared of the Manchurian Cantelope. We’re laughing at him trying to look relevant when right wing media and his big donors have abandoned him and all the election denier candidates he promoted lost badly on November 8.

What the Democrats are really hoping for is that he decides to run as an independent and further split the GOP vote. Trump might turn out to have been the best gift the Democrats ever received.

Trump is the biggest gift the left wing media were ever given...& he just keeps on giving. Ratings at CNN will skyrocket now w/ Trump back.

I dont think the Pubs have a unified plan on how to deal with Trump just yet. Pull the plug on his funding is what they need to do, but it must be done quietly, & behind the scenes to avoid losing too many Trump supporters.

Trump's only hope is to adopt a platform of:

-deep fiscal constraint
-cleaning up the DC fed agencies
-implementing immigration reform
-eliminating censorship from social media
-bringing manufacturing back (which is already underway)
-mandating school choice
-increasing competition in healthcare to reduce costs & improve quality

& bringing Americans together again around these platform principals that the majority agrees with.

Democrats want to hold him accountable for trying to overthrow the government but protecting the Republicans from his political shenanigans? Why? It's the gift that keeps on giving.
