It's nice to know the Republicans have their priorities straight. Seems like another Bengazi HRCs email fishing expedition wasting taxpayer money.

The more they fritter away their time on pointless investigations the less progress they make in destroying the country. They have no actual agenda other than pandering to their base. They also have to hope they can raise cash for their next election, only two years away so they will be making grandstand photo ops and proposing the most bizarre right-wing legislation with no hope of passage. Republicans have no idea how to govern so they will fall back on obstruction.

The Republican Congress can't actually do anything but cause gridlock, which is glorious as it stops the government from overreaching. A project uncovering the Biden crime family and the corruption of the FBI to protect them would be a most useful project.

Believing what they say is a losing proposition.
As Natalie says, they ran on crime and inflation. So yeah, 'murica already knew their priority. And so they are getting on with it, starting at the top.

It does not matter; they always lower them. Always.
