Dems will close up the illegal invasion once they’ve permanently got enough votes from one way or another.

Do you want to address all the video of Democrat leaders yakking on and on about the immigration problems and needing to build a wall years ago (pre Trump?).

I don't really GARA whether there's a physical wall at all, I just hate the blatant pandering and willingness to lie to fit any occasion... whichever side it's coming from. And there's plenty from both.

This change is not "after the election". It was shortly before the election:

The Biden administration is quietly completing bits of Donald Trump’s wall
The southern border is a political problem for Democrats because it is an actual problem

On the campaign trail, Joe Biden pledged he would build “not another foot” of border wall as president. But in the face of record numbers of migrants arriving at America’s southern border with Mexico, he has quietly reversed course, agreeing to fill in some glaring gaps that were left when he abruptly halted construction on his first day in office. Staying mum about the wall-work, Mr Biden has not wanted to telegraph the decision and risk alienating backers who associate the border wall with Donald Trump.

Biden admin quietly approves construction of U.S.-Mexico border wall near Yuma, Arizona
Joe Biden previously admonished Donald Trump over the wall and his immigration policies

"Not another foot."

Those were the words Joe Biden used as a mantra throughout his 2020 presidential campaign regarding the construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall. But on Thursday, the Biden administration approved a plan to complete a section of the border wall near Yuma, Arizona...

...Biden’s decision to secure the border wall comes after Sen. Mark Kelly, D-AZ, has called on the president to secure the border. Republican lawmakers have made similar calls.

The Biden administration’s quiet approval of the wall’s construction also comes after Biden often used it as a means of contrasting his policies with those of the Trump administration.

In the past, Biden was repeatedly critical of Trump, his border wall, and his immigration policies — which he referred to as "xenophobic" and "racist."
It was political, and now Biden is "xenophobic" and "racist". They didn't announce this for all to hear, because Trump, but they, yet again, have proven Trump was right.

Kind of.

Not sure it will ever even be 50% but Hispanics are family oriented.

Worked with a guy for 2 years. He was always talking about his family, especially "mah". He also had a respect for the Catholic church and a particular priest whose name I long forgot. Found out after the store closed he was still connected to the Latin Kings. (Though older and not nearly as active) Point being. Even gang members are often all about family and many the Catholic church.

Woke does not play well with that little detail.

Do you have a link to this or is it just in your mind?

So they have a specific section that is the epicenter of illegal entries because there is currently no wall in place and everyone is against it why? There's a big difference between closing a hole in an existing fence and promoting total replacement paid for by a foreign government, taking money from the military and other agencies all while demonizing anyone who wants to immigrate.

At least Biden won't put a vanity plate on it the way that Trump did.

Especially when we have some wonderful governors who do tge smart thing and ship the illegals to the so-called sanctuary state where they belong.

Democrats will never build the Wall.

The federal government even had to be shut down for more than a month during Trump's Presidency because of Democrat opposition to the Wall.
