This is nothing less than an insurrection. A real one. This is about a decidedly powerful attorney general of the United States deliberately — say again deliberately — going rogue and setting out to bring a democratic election to a full stop by investigating a candidate who is a Biden political opponent. And doing it to stop him in an outrageous miscarriage of justice.

This is exactly why Jim Jordan and the republican oversight committees will be investigating the DOJ and FBI becoming a political arm of corruption at the very top levels of management, and Joe Biden's business dealings with his son Hunter. Several whistle blowers within these government agencies have already came forward with information.

True....but some republican lawmakers need to grow a backbone too and stop ignoring the dirty deeds that are being done by democrats right in front of their faces.
Garland needs to be thrown in a political prison. He's just as much an enemy of the people as Heinrich Himmler was in the early days of Hitler's regime. And given the chance, he'd probably become just as much a monster as Himmler did in the latter years.

Sort of. Sometimes Jim Jordan and Republicans are overzealous and start screaming like lunatics during hearings which reduces the effect of their hearings. One thing that made the Jan 6th hearings easy to watch for most people was that it was pretty calm and straightforward, it came across like an official process and not gamesmanship. I am talking about perceptions from the general public and not Political junkies on this board.
I don't have any expectation that the Republican House can hold hearings without going full throttle for the sound bites and clips. They like to yell, cut off speakers, ask a question then not allow the person to answer, on and on. It looks good for those that want that RED MEAT but it looks horrible for those not locked into the party base.

You realize Garland could charge Trump now but instead hired the special council. Trump is being treated with kids gloves. If anyone else stole top secret documents from the United States, they'd be in prison now. And that is just one of many legal issues trump is facing. It is necessary to make sure Trump does not get away with his crimes if we want to continue to be a democracy. I know no-one here understands or agrees. That's fine.

You have got to be kidding...! The J6 committee was nothing but a farce theatre show ran by Pelosi's hand picked cronies. The committee only presented cherry picked evidence they wanted you to see and used professional producers and heavily edited videos. There was no rebuttal allowed.
Merrick Garland never gives straight answers under questioning and side steps what is actually being asked.
