Lemme see... someone steals the work laptop of the person second in line for the presidency. That's kinda major to me.

And yet, it doesn't appear that she was found guilty of stealing it.

Baloney. 367 individuals got federal charges due to the riots in 2020. Below was compiled a year and a half ago. Many of the cases were still open at that time. Believe me if the feds charge you, you are almost certainly going to be found guilty. Assume that north off 300 people were convicted of federal charges during those riots. Plus all the state convictions.

Records rebut claims of unequal treatment of Jan. 6 rioters

The AP found that more than 120 defendants across the United States have pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial of federal crimes including rioting, arson and conspiracy. More than 70 defendants who’ve been sentenced so far have gotten an average of about 27 months behind bars. At least 10 received prison terms of five years or more.

No problem. I DO condemn it. The violators should be charged with trespassing and perhaps vandalism. A fine of a couple hundred dollars and perhaps an overnight stay in jail would be more than adequate penalty.

You and others keep bringing this up despite *your knowing that the majority of blm antifa unpeaceful protesters were not even charged or had the charges were dropped, even when they'd been known to have committed felonies.

*one example, out of many:

The 2020 riots, Cyril Lartigue was charged and found guilty of manufacturing and possessing Molotov cocktails during the riots. He was sentenced to 24 months.

Meanwhile, the idiotic buffalo hat guy was given the over-sentencing of 41 months simply because he was the "public face of the Capitol riot".

Which is what they're getting. Released on own recognizance (meaning without bail) and fined $500 and 3-6 months probation. As long as they aren't repeat offenders they got the protesting charge, paid $500, go about their lives. A few of them, however, had more serious charges and are being appropriately dealt with. Not most, most were just simple cases of rioters trespassing where they weren't supposed to be, recording it because they're not criminal masterminds, and then leaving. A minority, however, were there with the explicit purpose of stopping the certification or to kidnap government officials. They weren't there just protesting because they didn't like losing. They were there because they thought they could change the outcome of losing through criminal action. That's guys like the Q Shammie. Or they were ones who committed violence like Robert Palmer who got 63 months for using a fire extinguisher to attack a police officer.

Among those in support of the fund was Kamala Harris, who tweeted "If you're able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota."
