They seem to have a never ending lust and hunger to air the parade of unscrupulous tactics made by one of the DC bunch.

You're absolutely right. Nothing in McClelan's book that has been revealed so far is anything but confirmation of what has been common knowledge for some time now. It's just allows more folks to say "told you so."

You’re right, but this time it’s an insider on the right saying it, not one of those leftwing bloggers.

Oh,,, don’t kill the messenger, Scotty’s ok,, it’s the message that smells.

I see this as a public and a media SO willing to continue wallowing in the vomit of this administration. Where is the collective advantage in that for our country, I wonder....nasty, nasty.

For those who say, "well, Scott should have spoke about these concerns at the time that this was going on, instead of now, he's an opportunist"......
Come on, you know eberyone that disagrees with the decider gets demoted, reassigned or fired. He's got maybe a family to feed and a right to employment (I would have more respect for him though, if he did like Colin Powell and just left since he did not like what was going on). For those who disagree, well, look at all the changes in generals and Ms. Plame being outed.

Yes but he would have his honor and self-respect intact.

Why would anyone be surprise that McClellan is an unscrupulous, self-serving, little prick. He was a key player in the Bush WH. The difference is that he's no longer a loyal, unscrupulous, self-serving, little prick.

I suspect the six figure book advance means he is still a bit self-serving.

There is an unspoken rule about speaking out: you don't. Being demoted, reassigned or fired would be a gift. Worse things can happen to you or your family. You can only speak out after times have passed.

He could have even just left quietly, although if he had a front row seat to deception, duty and deceny demand that he speak up.
