The Republican party had not yet been founded when that transpired.

So, let us start by fining Dems for what they did to our proud Native Americans first, then we can discuss what they did to the African slaves here afterwards.

Their hypocrisy smells like rotting eggs.
Is the Blacks going to pay back to all the Whites who fought during the civil to give them freedom? I don't think so.

Is the Blacks going to pay back the slave owners to keep them alive and their descendants alive because they were living in the US instead of Africa? I don't think so either.

What about all the damage to family the Blacks destroy in modern time? 13% of the population represented over 50% of all crimes.

Wrong

This video address that flawed notion;

Plus it was all Democrats in the south that instituted segregation, and discriminated against blacks in open ways well into the 1960's.
Today they have tried to imply Republicans are the racists just because they do not want to go along with all the political tactics the Democrats attempt to buy black votes with.

President Johnson (D) said it best when speaking to fellow (D) governors when he said "we need to give the negroes something, but not enough to make a difference, and I will have those N's voting Democrat for the next 200 years".

Considering actual history, it is amazing how the (D's) have convinced blacks that they should vote for them, rather than (R's) who not only died to free them, but do not treat them as inferior human beings, needing white people to survive.

Democrats feel guilty for their party's prior disgusting actions and in typical left-wing form, they are trying to co-opt the history and valor of the Republican party.

I dont owe any race anything. You want something in this life, stop playing self-made victim and work for it.

CA passed a bill to study it and so far they estimate they owe Blacks $500,000 each.
And CA is including any Black that was in CA up to 1899...so it's beyond "freed" slaves.

A state that was not a slave state.

You could not be so ignorant of history to not realize every race we discuss now days (blacks, browns, reds, whites and yellows) have enslaved people, in many cases their own. This also applies to other religions; thus I am surprised you only condemn whites and Christians.

Are you missing the key element that I have highlighted in bold?
There are no surviving blacks that were slaves in America unless they are 160+ years old.
Heck the Jews who were enslaved by the Egyptians could demand reparations if the sins of hundreds of generations ago could be held accountable today.
People who claim to be guided by the Constitution and the Bible knew better but ignored them both.

How about blacks who endured; Jim Crow , segregation, the Klan, housing and job discrimination? There's a bunch of them still alive. Many Christians mistreated black people because they saw it as their patriotic duty , since their local , state and federal governments were doing the same thing.

There's also a load of Japanese Americans we locked up during WWII who lost it all and had to start over.
And some of them are still alive today. Over 120K were incarcerated.
