Don't worry about Disney, didn't they just increase the ticket prices to their theme parks? They are doing fine.

So, kids with two dads or two moms shouldn't ever see their family situation reflected in the shows they watch?

Strange World opened at Number 2 at the box office. Sure revenue is down but revenue is down for movies overall.

So yes -- Disney -- like most movie companies -- is seeing a significant drop in revnue at the box office.

Movies audiences were decreasing before COVID and I don't think people are 'back' at the movies still.

Remember when baseball went on strike in the early 90's --- it took over 20 years for fans to come back.

So yup Disney is suffering -- but not sure it is the woke content anymore than it is dwindling movie audiences.

In 2021, those who attended a movie saw 3.6 films on average, compared with 6.9 in December 2007 https://news.gallup.com/poll/388538/...allup%20survey.

This is exactly what most here are saying.

They want all of this to go back into the closet.

I find it odd for anybody to cheer or boo a huge Corp that isn't giving you a dime. But i guess I was right. There is no MAGA platform cause if Disney made a Trump themed ride at their parks opinion would flip overnight.

Go woke, go broke, has never been more appropriate a concept these days.

From Bros to now this nonsense, who really wants to see any of that?

What do you mean by ‘singular views and lifestyles’ ????? Two dads together aren’t single.

Did you mean people don’t like seeing people portrayed as not being married? I didn’t preclude the two dads from being married.

How can my point be typical, when it’s not even clear what you mean by ‘singular views and lifestyles’ It can’t be typical.

Did you mean secular?

Whichever of the above you meant, if you’re talking about the general public when you say ‘people’, you’re wrong.

Additionally, your whole post is a deflection.

You didn’t answer my question.

Why not ?

Turns out you can bully people in to remaining silent about content they find objectionable or simply cannot relate with but you can't bully them in to actually going to the theater to consume it.
