Trump is not winning the general. 90% of Republicans hope he doesn't win the primary, because they're smart enough to know he's not winning the general.
Running mates don't often make much of a difference, but I think Musk would broaden Trump's reach, because Musk has such a fanatical fan base, and would help Trump with the younger voters and nerds.
As an African American, Musk doesn't qualify. He was foreign born.
