Sure does. It's color coded so you can tell Democratic oil from Republican oil. Democratic oil always costs more, to hear the republicans tell it, but the never were big on looking at historical facts.

U.S. Poised to Grant Chevron License to Pump Oil in Venezuela

The U.S. is poised to grant a license to Chevron Corp. CVX -0.29%decrease; red down pointing triangle to pump oil in Venezuela, a policy shift that signals the easing of yearslong sanctions and could open the door for other oil companies to do business there.

No one is stopping companies from drilling in the US, ask Chevron why they can’t do the same here. Oil at $80 a barrel and they don’t want to drill here.

This is a win all around.

The Dems prefer Communist oil to American oil because the Dems don't control the U.S. fossil fuel industry, & that industry is on the Pubs side.

Communist oil burns just as dirty as Texas & Alaskan oil, so there's no science to support using Commie oil over U.S. oil.

Thus, its all about political power, control, & kickbacks. Big oil wont give the Dems kickbacks, so big oil must be destroyed.

Green energy is just a fabricated tool to destroy big oil.

Why is it Biden and the Democrats love handing money and power over to communist or terrorist nations?

Going to communist nations for help - The Biden Administration's Plan
The answer is the Biden Administration is full of marxist socialist communists and they want to strengthen their base and Biden is helping them because he loves his power as the president.
The actual end game of the Marxist in the Biden Administration is to take our freedoms and turn us into another communist China.
Trump is just the shiny object being used for the followers of Biden to focus on while they the Marxist Socialist Communist take our freedoms and take the power away from our country cutting our oil supply and building up any other communist country or enemies of the United States such as Iran.

One must look at the entire full picture of what this Administration is doing under climate change hoax.

This is a well planned out event behind closed doors to brainwash the masses and transform us from the bottom up into a complete federal government takeover of our rights even the rights of the states.
Money and power have bought many such as our media and the communist have infiltrated our schools and their tentacles reach into many facets of our federal government because those at work in the federal government want the power to the federal government . It was an easy takeover for the people in the federal government to expand their power against anyone or any entity that puts America first and Americans first. A communist government always gives all the power to the federal government and none to the people.

The situation is, there is absolutely no incentive for U.S. oil companies to drill and extract more oil with the goal of selling gasoline cheaper at the pump. That's not how business works.

That's not how anything works.

Actually, that's precisely how capitalism works. Companies seeks to offer their products and services at a competitive and affordable price so that the average person can afford it. That's why competition is good for consumers. It encourages real free market price discovery. It's also good for capitalism, since lower prices encourage higher consumption.

Commie oil from Venezuela is better than American oil for US refineries. Back before we got in a huff over Chavez, we imported like a million and a half barrels a day from there. Much of our refining capacity is designed for heavy crudes like come from the Gulf and Commiezuela. We end up exporting about half of what we produce in the US because, among other reasons, US fracked oil is too light for our refiners to use.

No incentive at $80 a barrel?? We can drill all we want and gas would remian the same as it is set on the world market, unless you think that our oil compaines will sell at a discount.

Almost at our peak production from 2019 and will likely surpass that point next year, so much for the war on oil.

HOUSTON, Oct 31 (Reuters) - U.S. oil output climbed to nearly 12 million barrels per day (bpd) in August, government figures showed on Monday, the highest since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, even as shale companies have said they do not see production accelerating in coming months.

Then explain the record profits reported by Big Oil in the past couple of quarters.

That is how Capitalism works. We are being robbed by CEOs.
