How much did Chevron have to pay the Biden Family Crime Syndicate? Is it still 15%?

Or did Maduro pay the 15%, and then added that corruption cost into the cost of selling us the oil?

Either way, we all lost again. Every time DC does, or doesn't do something, we all lose...rest assured.

Gas is a form of energy, too. If gas and oil are both considered, then the US can be said to be "energy independent", even if we have to buy oil somewhere else.
We export tons of natural gas, and use plenty, too.

Lots of people are raving about this Chevron deal. I haven't checked; are those the same people who were screaming "sanctions don't work" in another thread?
Sanctions do work. Venezuela has been impoverished by sanctions. If they want to talk and demonstrate they are capable of re-entering the civilized world, what's the harm in trying?

I guess Venezuelan oil burns so clean, its carbon neutral. Same as Saudi oil.

Anybody who hasn't figured out yet that this isn't about science, or global warming, is not smarter than a 3rd grader.

Why does it matter whether we burn USA extracted/refined oil, or that of foreign countries?

Since there is ZERO net difference, it must be something else...no? Please think that through, & share your findings.

It's about lowering our cost of fuel in the short term, maybe you missed the fact that OPEC has cut production, Russian oil is being boycotted. Maybe if you have some connections to US refiners to increase production but I doubt that would make a difference in the short term. The world market will remain high, but maybe you could ask the US oil companies to discount oil to consumers.
