Since we have people in the current Administration that have been saying a woman can have a penis and a man can have a vagina can you actually be a Democrat that adamantly disagrees with this position?
Who really cares?
We are dealing with people who can’t figure out what restroom to go to, what are pronouns and how should they be used and the genders of newborn children.
Best to avoid these massively confused and even sick people.
Give them their Safe Space and back away slowly and very, very quietly.

I know smart, perfectly reasonable people who completely lose their minds when it comes to politics. They're mostly Dems, but Repubs aren't entirely immune from this phenomenon (to wit: COVID). My brother-in-law is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and super smart, but when presented with empirical data and proven, documented facts that are at odds with some per-conceived whacko liberal position he has, will literally go into full head-in-sand mode, claiming said facts aren't true - no matter how widely publicized/documented by both parties.
It's no worse than being a democrat "back in the day". Back then, you had to support slavery, believe in segregated societies, believe women and some minorities shouldn't have the right to vote, and if you wanted to get anywhere in democrat towns, you probably had to be a card carrying member of the KKK.
No one hates god. Some can’t accept those who he made different.
I'm sure there are actually some people that hate God, or maybe just the idea of a god. I'm an Athiest so I could care less about God, but I realize I have to live with people who believe.
I can also accept that there are Transgender people all over, that don't deserve to be discriminated against. Doesn't mean I'm going to date them or pretend they are not Transgender.
