Is that the extent of all of the "hate speech" on Musk's twitter? Somebody trolled him with the N-word to make Twitter look bad, so the media could pick that up and disseminate that widely in an attempt to claim that Musk is incompetent to manage Twitter?
Considering that people immediately launched a n-word bot attack using fake accounts which both you and the article conveniently leave out, it makes me question the honesty of all of this.
On top of this, CNN doesn't bother to mention any political affiliation of the groups making these claims and apparently that's too much work for you considering they're saying something you like.
According to who?
So is the Anti-Defamation League an objective source? They have a political affiliation?
I went to Twitter and reported alot of accounts where individuals were using racially charged remarks. I managed to get some accounts suspended. However, this was before Musk took it over. I've also reported accounts that had antisemitic remarks in their posts.
The left are masters of the manipulating and shifting the intent of things to suit them.
Hate speech is an example. I'm not a constitutional expert but as I understand it you can say ugly crap. You can't say something that will immediately cause harm. The example being you can't scream falsely fire in a crowded theater.
Years ago when the ACLU were legit, they'd fight for the rights of the klan to have marches, as ugly as that is because they had free speech.
Some black person says that whites are inferior and openly talks about it is free speech, and as a white person I support their rights, don't like it, but whatever.
If it's people saying hateful things about groups or individuals they dislike, then there are plenty of folks on the left who say hateful things about repubs, Christians, conservatives, and pretty much anyone they have social and political disagreements with.
I'm not surprised to hear this. I would bet that a lot of these people sh** posting on twitter are actually testing the bounds of the terms of service just to see how "free speech" the platform is now. I wouldn't be surprised if this surge starts to wane once it is known what bounds can be pressed and people get bored of the dumb sh** posting. Not saying it is right, but I'm always skeptical about the framing of a story. If it does turn into another stormfront, I will eat my words.
