I agree about going after coyotes. No telling what they are telling people just to get the business. Shooting them is too good. They need to be locked up under the jail. And it could prove risky. Maybe military instead of CBP.
About 15 years ago a couple of CBP agents were chasing a dope smuggler right on the border. As they fired, the smuggler crossed over the border.
It hit the fan for those 2. IIRC they were convicted by a jury and sent to jail.
Our good congressman, Ted Poe got involved and they were freed.
