Horrible, reprehensible, but they are not part of the government’s security apparatus. At least so far.

So you’re equating government authorized division of enforcers to private citizens in USA. now if you can show that republicans have created a government division of officers who are to patrol the streets to enforce morality laws concerning personal relationships, dress, speech, type of foods eaten, and whether or not they are obeying religious restrictions on eating during a particular period then you have a valid point. But USA doesn’t have officers beating and arresting women for not covering their head and body parts.

Holy smokes! You have no grip on the reality of what is done in radical Muslim countries.

last time I checked I could be honest and say screw the president. Try that in Iran.

Well, the "right wing dudes" did try and kill Jussie, and Democrats believed every word of it.

Who is doing that? Source?

Try clicking the source I comment to, and trace back the conversation.

No one is trying to do that to the trans community. Which is why a few of us called out the person for saying trans people would be denied electricity.

In the US, in some regions, you'd get dirty looks and get called names. But overall, you wouldn't have to worry about being arrested or executed.

Iran's fundamental human rights foundation is way off.
Hmmmm, I'm not so sure there aren't people in the US who wouldn't think that was such a bad idea.

People are now calling the LGBTQ+ community a "hate group". Think they're all pedophiles coming after the children.

There are those so opposed that they insist any people not straight up hetero are depraved individuals possessed by demons.

The backlash against the LGBTQ+ community is starting to rear its ugly head.

No one wants that. It’s a weird fantasy for the op and also you, apparently.
