Disney is and has been dead to me. I don’t understand adults that worship at the throne of Mickey Mouse. Universal is so much better and as far as I know, Universal productions don’t have subliminal grooming of children.

You don’t need an alternative. You just don’t go to their parks, buy their crap or use their streaming service.

Ah ok, my apologies, I misread your post.

And indeed, it is.

People enjoyed the films when the creators were in the closet.

I'm glad Disney is standing behind those who make their stuff happen.

The fact is there needs to be some representation. As I said to my mother yesterday, if you talk Strange World, most people didn't even know about it because of bad marketing.
Why do we even need to know about the personal sex lives of everyone? They cannot even make a TV series or movie anymore, unless every fifth person is LGBTQIA++. For 99% of the characters in movies and TV shows, we do not need to know their sexual proclivities. Nowadays, any movie or TV series with 11-25 year olds, we need to know who is having sex with who, and what special flavors of sex and or gender roles they prefer. And now, with 200 genders, companies will need to included dozens of unnecessary extras, just to "represent" as many of them as they can, so they can appease as many wack-a-doodles as possible, without getting Twitter-bombed and called foul names.

We aren't even allowed to comment on whether we liked a show anymore, because if we do not want to watch it, or did not like it, it's because we are racist, trans or homophobic. It's getting to the point where, when i see a show with an unnecessary genders or race swap, or a gay or trans character, that offers nothing to the story, i just see it as woke pandering for virtue signal points. I don't like it anymore than I like it when a bible thumper makes a movie and repeatedly inserts unnecessary bible quotes or symbology.

No, there does not "need to be to be some representation" of LGBTQIA+++, anymore than there needs to always be some representation of any or all religions, or political ideology, or new edgy conspiracy theories, etc...

I was a rabid Mickey Mouse Club fan.

I saw Old Yeller 10 times. I wanted a damlation after 101 dalmations. I wanted a tree house after Swiss Family Robinson. Follow Me Boys was a personal favorite. I wanted a sheep dog after The Shaggy Dog where Fred MacMurray drinks a chemical and it turns him into a dog. Who can resist the charm of Mary Poppins -- you would have to lack a heart.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The Mighty Mouse has fallen.

If you think that only things involving Disney are fun, I feel kind of sorry for you.

I once was served by a member of the EU Parliament. I was with my boyfriend. His grandmother served us rose champagne. He invited me into his attic and showed me hundreds of millions of dollars of original Disney artwork. There is a demand for Disney some people don't understand.
