Most of the big cities are run by democrats, if voters had a good alternative then republicans would be in charge. Just complaining about crime without offering any solutions isn't going to get any republicans into office.
The national mid-terms are quite different than the politics in these cities. Besides homicide rates are highest in red states but they keep electing republicans.
I've noticed that hardly anyone ever asks why people in the major cities vote Democrat. I've posed this question to get people to think. Vote-shaming doesn't work. Finding a way to get people to WANT TO vote Republican needs to be done.
As for my vote, this is how I see it. My vote, my business.

If you are saying that demographics are the factor, then why are we even talking about political parties? If it's political parties, then you'd also have to say "there's nothing we can do".
You’re right. Nothing seems to break the spell. Not out of control crime … not economic failure, not liberal lunacy, not even repeated demonstrations of greater prosperity for everyone under conservative governance. It seems that democrats can’t change. Democrat politicians continue to rely on stupidity and their ability to convince their supporters to believe that doing the same things over and over will one day produce a better result.
So, it is a consequence of public ignorance at this point in history. It’s not like there is anything new going on here. Same movie, same ending. We have decades of proof, but facts don’t matter to the left … only feelings matter..
