What exactly do you think he would accomplish at the border? He would talk to some people and shake some hands, but that's not where policy is made.
The problem is in DC he is talking to the wrong people because they are telling him the Border is secure.
Imagine him going there and seeing a few hundred people just walk right in. Imagine if he actually cared to talk to the citizens that live on the Border, the ones that have had their property damaged and stolen. The ones that have found bodies. The ones that are now afraid to go outside at night and when they do they are armed.
What can be more important than visiting the Border? We don't have a country without a Border.

How many visits have they made? If you really wanted to know and not just try deflect you would have looked it up. But I'll start you off...McCarthy visited the border just a couple of weeks ago on Nov 22nd.
As for solutions the Republicans have come up with many solutions, only to be blocked by Democrats at just about every turn.

More than the Democrats that's for sure. Trump visited it and built half of the wall that was needed and Biden put a stop to it. The wall is a part of the solution. What kind of bill would you like to see in congress that would end illegal immigration?
If Biden put the money and resources into securing our border, as he does with Ukraine, we would not have anyone illegally crossing our border or overstaying their visitor visa.
