Last month, Target Chief Financial Officer Michael Fiddelke said shoplifting has jumped about 50% year over and year, leading to more than $400 million in losses.
They should hire more security then. This is their problem. If they raise prices then people will just go somewhere else.

I was at Walmart today, they need to take lessons from Cosco on how to run the checkout.
I won't even use them auto check out's. But maybe i should. A man in my city kitty got put in jail using one when he missed a item and sued them and got 185k ray.
Maybe they should think about putting more staff back in the stores and eliminate the self checkouts. Shop lifting is certainly more likely to occur when nobody is watching.
Self checkout? LOL, criminals don't care about self-checkout. They'll walk right out with stolen goods, knowing company policy means no one can chase them. They know the exact dollar amount to steal before it becomes a felony.
