That's not but half the number Musk laid off at Twitter. Everything will be fine.

Automobiles > Twitter

Priorities... I don't need Twitter to enjoy a first world standard of living, but automobiles are another matter entirely. I would prefer Musk bury Twitter forever so the left can finally get a life and stop demanding the government control their life for them. The glorious destruction of the socialist's favorite tool (brainwashing platform) would be the most generous thing Musk has ever done for this great country.

Oh well. The fools in Illinois voted for Pritzker and Duckworth, a couple of totalitarian Marxists with no idea how to successfully keep and attract businesses. Hope their pension system goes bankrupt soon, which it will.

Biden will just bail out their pension funds like he's doing with the Teamsters. The rest of America will be made to suffer for democrats and their goals and objectives, as usual.

In the next decade, I'm pretty sure we will be bailing out California and Illinois. Democrats will call you unamerican or pro Putin or whatever buzz words are prevalent at that time if you don't agree with it. The will of the people is not even an afterthought with democrats.

If there is a need there will be a market.

I misunderstood. I thought you might be sympathizing with the plight of the laid off workers.

Silly me. I should have known better.

And every single one of those leftist snowflake twinkies deserved it.

Clearly there is a need. The majority of Americans get around with automobiles still I assume. But if a business can't bring automobiles to market at a price people can afford, than they will cease operations or cease to exist entirely.

It will be yet another market in which China eventually controls if things don't change. I think they can make a car for about 7K in China. The unions and democrats have been doing everything they can to keep those vehicles from encroaching on the market here, but eventually, the levee will break and the majority will all be driving Chinese automobiles if the free market has it's way.

We still have the brainwashing/social media market cornered though. I guess it doesn't take much labor to keep that stuff running compared to automobiles and other real things we actually depend on.

Of course not. I'm a machinist. Nobody has ever shed a tear for me if/when I am shown the door. Welcome to working class American life. If they don't like it, there is socialist Canada and Europe. At least the former TWITter employees won't have to lug home hundreds of pounds and thousands of dollars worth of tools the way I have had to do in the past.

Sounds like Stellantis made some poor business decisions with regards to expansion.

Stellantis says Jeep joint venture in China to file for bankruptcy

You think Stellantis in USA is having to cut costs to help the global company with some bad decisions in other markets, and the easy out is to blame EV not bad business decisions?
