We are a Christian nation and always have been. The laws already revolve around it, such s presumption of innocence and the idea that it is better than 99 guilty men go free than 1 innocent be convicted, which comes from sodom and gomorrah.

Our laws are based on protecting the innocent and punishing those who harm them and that is also a part of religious "values". Thou shalt not kill, steal, etc. Those things are a part of our laws.
