Biden's* team? Could be. Could be that some of the most damaging were destroyed. Most likely IF Hunter, or anyone else in the Biden family, had any documents stashed around, they're all ash now. Garland certainly dragged his feet (intentionally?), which would have given them the time to dispose of things.
Gsrland is still dragging his feet. Biden's Rehobeth Beach home should have already been searched and the Wilmington home was searched later than it should have been.

As well, where is the UPenn Office search?
This is like telling a criminal that you are going to search his house........in two weeks from now.
That seems to be his modus operandi. He requires a month to do what the average person needs a day to do. There's slow and careful, and then there's Garland speed, otherwise known as a snail's pace.
This happened two months ago. Didn't hear a peep about this - as it happened right before the midterm elections. And how much is a "small number"?
Yes, we all know of the Democrats and their "Do as I say, not as I do" attitude.
That information was intentionally withheld so as not to sway voters.
All Presidents since Eisenhower have had "classified" docs in their possession after leaving office. That doesn't make it right and it does not justify it, but it should be understood that it's simply something that happens. Very obviously, there need to be better controls on classified docs.
In terms of damage, Biden's classified docs, many of which concerned policies vis-a-vis Iran are far more damaging.

"Biden dodging question on speaking to special counsel continues White House's evasive tactic"
Biden was asked by a reporter on Monday whether the president would give testimony to the special counsel if the Garland-appointed prosecutor wants to speak with him, but Biden blew off the question, saying: “Oh, I don’t even know about the special counsel.”
