Ideas don't set cars on fire. People do.
It really is as simple as that. Antifa is a group. They cause trouble, and not much else. If they are "just an idea" as Biden suggested, than there would be no reason for them to go out and cause problems. People with ideas they want to share tend to... Wait for it... Share ideas with others... Not torch their cars and cities. Attacking people and their property hasn't been shown to be a very effective way of convincing people of anything. It just makes people angry.

First of all, the idea of “global socialism” being a threat is funny because capitalism is what controls the world pretty much. When we say globalism, we’re talking about global trade, not the “Illuminati”.
Kind of hard to bring on global socialism when capitalists call the shots, and there’s little to no class solidarity among the working poor.
Traditionalism isn’t fascist in itself, but fascists will appeal to traditionalism, usually in favor of pushing the image of a “past glory”. Often times, in the guise of “when these other people weren’t here and destroying our culture”.
Nazis were SINOS, Socialists in Name Only. They had socialists in their ranks but purged them. They used socialism to draw in voters because it was popular at the time.
They banned unions, installed puppet unions that worked in ways opposite of how unions should work. They privatized industries and put socialists, and communists in concentration camps. In fact they were one of the first to be put into the camps.
The socialist wing of the Bazi Party was led by Gregor Strassor(sy if I botched the name, but you can search it). He was the one that wrote the letter “we are socialists”. Often that’s falsely attributed to Hitler’s writing. He and his wing were the only true socialists in the party. But they were purged, and Gregor was killed during the night of the king knives. In the end, Hitler only cared about power, not socialism.
And corporations pretty much run the government for capitalist interests. Hence why workers often get shafted, even by Democrats. Republicans are openly anti-union, democrats talk a good game about being pro union but ultimately bend at the will of capitalist corporations.
And fascism is capitalism in crisis. Once they cannot pacify the population with PR, with convincing them that this system works. They’ll resort to being reactionary and targeting minority groups. This is to divide the working class, to tell the population that
“It’s the Jews”
“It’s the gays”
“It’s the blacks”
With the intention of distracting the population from the real culprits.
They’ll also use the strong arm of capitalist power, the police. Thai leads to police militarization. Police and military tend to be the strong arm of fascism. Not to say that the individual police or military is a fascist themselves. But they still have to uphold a status quo by force.
This is why you see police protect a corporation from striking workers rather than protect workers from the corrupt practices of a corporation.
You can’t call yourself an anti-Fascist and be aligned with police, that’s a contradiction. Also, there is no such thing as a peaceful movement. No movement for emancipation, for rights, for change, has ever been peaceful.
Not because the people trying to bring about change aren’t peaceful, the the reactionary opposing forces that aren’t peaceful. The ones looking to hold a status quo for the sake of holding onto power. They react violently, and in return, they get a less than equal amount of violence because only one side has the guns. Only one side is allowed to use bill e sanctioned by the state and capitalist elite.
