Saw This in the news this morning.
The city of Seattle is planning to sue Hyundai because they made their cars to easy to steal.
These easy to steal cars are now escalating the situation because they are used to commit more crimes.
Hyundai has already corrected this problem and offer to repair existing cars with this issue.
I find them blaming others for their crime statistics amusing.
If they are going to start suing people they should look to themselves first maybe?

I've owned a couple of late model Hyundai's over the past decade or better. No one ever stole them, and as far as I know they never tried. But then, I don't live in Seattle... so there's that.

Could that mean that the real problem is some of the people that live in Seattle? I hope they don't get anywhere with this, as the potential to blame the product rather than the person that steals it could be unending.

Cars often get stolen, but it sounds like Seattle has a much bigger problem with it than other places. So yeah, it's the area where the cars are at and not the car itself.

Remember, they first seemed to blame tiktok videos telling people how to steal the Kia cars, so now I guess they are blaming Kia in the lawsuit. I could watch a video on stealing a car, even if it looked really easy, I wouldn't go out and steal a car.
Couldn't possibly have anything to do with Seattle slashing their police budgets (defunding) and it's overall disdain and open hatred for law enforcement, could it? Dumb azz liberals. Everyone's fault but their own. Always.

But, but "there is no crime issue"
