Not just Democrat cities.

I live in a red county in central FL. My small city is near an interstate that is 20/30/40 miles from 3 different mid to large size cities. Hence, a lot of passing thru crime in the form of car chases and carjackings to get a different vehicle from the one being chased.

After multiple innocent civilian deaths as a result of these police chases, new rules were instituted regarding these chases.

Basically limiting chases to life threatening emergencies. Anything else let them go and surveil them into the next jurisdiction.
