Oh man, NOW I have to stop using the expression, when I don't understand something, "What you talking about Willis" That was from the TV show "Different Strokes" it was a fun show that would probably be banned or at least rewritten for today's audience.
Digital Blackface.. What will they think of next?
I say that one to my kids and have even started saying they’re “a Willis” when I don’t know what they’re talking about. Except I am too young for that show, I heard it in a Biggie song 20+ years ago. Lolz
Can white Gamers choose black characters/avatars? Or is that now racist?
Ah crap, I did it again. I chose Captain Holt from Brooklyn 99 as my avatar for something. How racist of me! He’s simply the one I find funniest on the show and it’s become an inside joke between my husband and me so I picked it thinking I was being funny. Good Lord.
Fear tactics. First they change the rules, then they'll start going back through people's timelines and cancelling them for breaking the new rules before they were even in place. They'll do it to people who don't toe the progressive line. I wish businesses wouldn't go along with it and give them the power to cancel like that.
They always do this. Anything anyone has ever posted publicly or even privately if screen shotted by the right (wrong) person is fair game in the cancel game.
My hat's off to CNN with this one. Orwellian, gaslighting, profoundly racist, absurd, cult-like... and in a relatively low number of words. I'm sure convinced of my need to repent, but I'm a bargain shopper. To which far-left organization can I donate in order to score both absolution from sin and a Welcome gift — preferably one that includes a brick, ski mask, and government crack pipe, so that I might do the new lord's work more effectively?
