24 States have some form of open primaries for Presidential elections.

I believe that this will be the #1 factor in who becomes the Republican nominee.

So many hate Trump so much, I could see Millions of them voting for DeSantis in the primaries, just to dump Trump.

All I hear about from liberals is that Trump will be the easiest opponent for Biden to beat. I guess the real test is who they'll vote for in the open primaries, or whether they hate Trump so much that they'd rather DeSantis win the primary even if they think DeSantis is the harder candidate for Biden....

I like Trump and DeSantis. Where does that leave me? I don't want to tear down one to support the other. I'd be happy with either one of them as the nominee for various reasons. I think the GOP has no chance to win the 2024 election at the presidential level though due to mail in voting, ballot harvesting, weak or absent voter ID laws and lax chain of custody rules for votes so I kind of hope DeSantis waits until the GOP can make gains at the state level and enact election reforms before running for president. He shouldn't shoot his shot while election integrity remains so low. Let Trump be the sacrificial lamb for this cycle. He's already lost once.

This bad news. If Trump wins the Republican nomination, it will be a slam dunk win for the Dems. Regardless of how much Republicans like Trump, Dems will rally against him at all costs.
