Joe the Big Guy Biden, has blocked devices that make chips being exported to China. China is now considering banning the export of rare earth metals to the US.

Will Biden be forced to reconsider blocking new mining of rare earth metals within the US that his green energy goals require?

How many times does China have to tell the west they will not play by it's rules before idiot American politicians get the message and start working for the benefit of the USA and it's people/domestic industries again??? It's quite obvious they intend to replace the USA as the single most important economy on the planet, and they are writing their own rules. Biden has only been helping them achieve that goal for much/most of his career, which is why they have as much leverage as they do today. I would also say both parties are guilty of building China up while neglecting the nation they are supposed to be working for/representing.

Cut your nose off to spite your face.....

We didn't win in Afghanistan....no rare earth metals for us
We aren't making any inroads in Africa...no rare earth metals for us.

Seems we need to be nice to some countries if the move is to EV.

Good. We shouldn't be dependent on China for anything critical.

I guess we just going to have to train our own kids to use hand tools and dig up rare earth elements right in people's back yards then. Remember, its the cheapest method, we giving our kids a lucrative trade, and is carbon neutral.
