There's a vlog who talk about PBS and NPR rage toward Twitter.

Ever heard of conflict of interest? You probably believed tobacco companies when they said smoking doesn’t cause lung cancer, because our doctors say so, too.

See something, say something...ooops there goes another mainstream propaganda arm outed and labeled as such.

Worth every penny to state the obvious, NPR has a political agenda and is too dishonest to admit it.

Its not even remotely relevant....but when you get into a discussion, and RELEVANT facts aren't on your side, but you happen to have a turd in your back pocket....that's what you lead with.

When I read the response equating government subsidy of a media company, which forms/sways public opinion, to a company making space vehicles....I was thinking, why even bother engaging this person. If this is their starting point, we'll never find any common ground. Dunning-Kruger rides again!

After NPR and PBS, it's now the turn of the CBC in the Great White North to face the same music.

Quote:
Twitter has put a "government-funded media" label on CBC's account in what is the latest move by the social media company to stamp public broadcasters with designations.

"Government-funded media is defined as outlets where the government provides some or all of the outlet's funding and may have varying degrees of government involvement over editorial content," according to Twitter.

National Public Radio in the U.S. announced earlier this month that it is leaving the platform after Twitter labelled its account as "state-affiliated media," saying that doing so undermines their credibility by "falsely implying that we are not editorially independent."

I agree with that statement when the word "falsely" is removed.

You're delusional if you think NPR is balanced. Wow, talk about being purposely blind.

If NPR is a "propaganda machine" funded by the government, wouldn't NPR be a "propaganda machine" for whichever political party is in power? Musk's label of "government-funded media" assumes partisanship to the government, no? So, wouldn't NPR be a "propaganda machine" for the Republicans when they ran the administration, and for the Democrats when they ran the administration?
People just don't think when they say ridiculous stuff like NPR is a "propaganda machine".

Ever hear of a federal tax return? That's where the revenue reports come from. Nonprofit 990s are publicly available. If you need assistance understanding NPR's tax return, I'm happy to help.

Partisan to you because they don't regurgitate the same unsubstantiated garbage that Fox puts out.

Why are they so left leaning? My guess is the top private donors are leftist, don't know for sure. And top donors always get special treatment.
