The CBO estimated the Inflation Reduction Act would cost about $385 billion or so.
It's now looking more like over $1 trillion in cost.

This will do nothing to fight inflation.

The Inflation Reduction Act Price Jumps From $385 Billion to Over $1 Trillion
Penn Wharton revised its estimate of the cost of the inflation reduction act significantly higher based on Biden's actual implementation of the deal.

Not only will it not fight inflation, it will cause more inflation because we do not have four hundred billion dollars, let alone one trillion dollars.

But, most supporters of this bill will not care, as they got all their pet projects funded. If the poor are disproportionately hurt by this, then so be it. The Democrats pet projects are far more important than any human suffering...

I say this because some will try to point out the hypocrisy, as though the hypocritical people actually care that they are hypocritical. This is one thing the Republican Party has yet to learn. The labelling is a one-way street because only one party cares about being labelled.

There's a serious problem with young people not understanding the fundamentals of pretty much any aspect of life right now, and the economy is no exception. They don't see the problem with printing more money. They have zero concept of what a dollar actually is.

Well, there's the "Infrastructure Bill"-where only 6% of the spending goes towards infrastructure.

When asked to name 1 good thing Joe Biden has done for America, leftists to this day often cite the inflation reduction act. Orwellian indeed...
