No, I agree it's not controversial. But then it isn't supposed to be. Dreyfuss is right. End of story.

You may not realize it but that is how progressives and socialists implement their agendas....by the force of law, public shaming and intolerance to anyone voicing a differing opinion.

Good for him. He has the freedom of knowing his career is rapidly winding down. A rising young start would kill his career before it starts saying that. N

obody can afford to push back except the oldest of actors or those who have quit the industry.

I knew it was the beginning of the end for Hollywood when a some years back, a few hundred actors signed a written pledge stating they would not perform in any work unless the entire cast represented everyone equally. many of these were A or B list big names.

No more movies about World War II then? Nothing about the signing of the Declaration of Independence? Or, looking at it from the other side, no more movies about slave revolts? The casts of Midway, 1776, and Amistad were not representative of all races equally. But they were representative of the people who were involved in these incidents.

I would be quite interested in how you assess the skills of an actor. Have you ever been involved in casting a show? I have helped with that process, as recently as this past week. We’re still looking for a 60+ year old woman who is willing to do a couple of nude scenes, not pornographic. Race and looks no problem. We have two submissions so far. Message me if you qualify and you’re interested, and I’ll hook you up with the director.

Movies have always reflected the majority audience. Have you been out in public lately? It’s not a white world any more. Movies are going to increasingly mirror the changes happening in society. Those who can’t deal with it are going to be sidelined. Those who are openly prejudiced are not going to work in anything of importance again.

Diversity still makes everything stronger, just like it always has.

Of course they will...they have to now.

maybe they will remake Gone With the Wind and the White people will be the slaves.

Of course they will continue making historic pictures from past eras when America was 90% white.

General Patton will be black.

George Washington will be Hispanic -- Senior Jorge Lavaringon.

All the slaves causing problems for their fellow slaves, will be cast as white people.

Hollyweird thinks there are 57 genders and that sex is a human construct. I am sure Hollywood has no problem casting white people as Negro slaves, as long as the role is a negative one and you are meant to dislike the character. It stands to reason they would be all in with this.

Oh I realize it. In fact everything you listed is exactly what caused me to turn away from the left in the first place.
