A very watered down bill, affecting only special ed students or students in the worst school districts will likely benefit from state funds for private schools.

Time has expired for the bill for school choice funding to be passed. Abbott is threatening a special session, but it doesn't look like there will be the votes to pass it.

It's already been watered down from what was authored, to the point that it's not what Abbott and Paxton were working for.
