You know good and well they will treat Desantis just as they did Trump...accusing him of things he isn't guilty of. They have the FBI on their side to back them up and to support the lies so anything goes.
Some people say they would prefer Desantis over Trump because Desantis doesn't come with the drama but soon Desantis will have tons of made-up accusations thrown at him.

Looks like you are inviting people to use their imaginations and make up conspiracy theories.
I don't know if they are lies or just philosophical differences, but I expect the left will focus on the abortion issue, some of his legal antics in running Florida, and his position on Ukraine. He appears to lack much of Trump's legal baggage (and mental health issues), so he'll probably prove more difficult to attack.

Why lie? The left can just focus on his record and positions.
Maybe Trump really is dirty and that's why non-Republicans take such issues with him. Republicans have been conditioned so long to believe that their party is "God's party" of moral values and is the only thing left defending Christendom had led to people being unable to accept that one of their own might not be the upright man they think he is.
