She is touting the "degrowth" movement which has taken hold in EU that we haven't heard about much in the US yet.

And yes the movement believes white supremacy colonialism and capitalism is the cause of the climate crises and much of the world's problems. The goal is to de-populate and de-industrialize mankind.
It appears that in the de-growth movement recession is now considered a good thing? Germany is now in recession caused by inflation of rising high energy cost. They banned nuclear power in 2011 and became heavily dependent on foreign energy. They banned oil to Russia because of the war.
I have to say that it's always ironic hearing someone like Jane Fonda talk about the huge role women have played in society and how they have been all these huge positive forces in creating the country and shaping the world with regards to anything positive and the minute there is an opportunity to blame dump something negative? It's all the men's fault.

I am always interested in how certain "types" of males have a need to denigrate women who have an alternative notion about things. You cannot just disagree with a woman, you have to create derisive names for them. Is that something you learn in junior varsity locker rooms?

That means that white men have chosen to base an economy on destruction of natural resources, prohibiting women for controlling anything, including their own bodies, and standing on the necks of anyone incapable of killing them, mostly not white. So, as I see it you should probably just stop there and own it, because Jane isn't that far from the mark.

My wife and I watched the movie "80 for Brady" and in it Fonda looked ridiculous. Does she not know how big her carbon footprint is to make her look 50 not 85? And not to mention all the animals that died in the testing of all that makeup she piles on.

Obviously, Jane Fonda has always been a narcissistic dingbat with no idea what it means to be in a loving relationship. One ruinous relationship after another. Narcissists always have destructive relationships with the opposite sex.
