it gets a negative interpretation from me because it's just another made-up word in a world of made-up words made up by people who think the concept is unheard of, and so needed to invent a word.
I figure anyone that's self-important enough to invent a new term to describe a situation that's existed in other cultures and nations and locations for millennia deserves to be interpreted negatively, however noble their intent.
It's like bad marketing - your commercial sucks so bad, I hate the product, and I've never even tried it.
