It's becoming 'more' possible with many fed up with partisan politics. Will it happen? I'm thinking less than 50% possibility, but with Trump and Biden looking more and more like the choices... people want something else.

Amid increasing polarization in the United States and the anticipation of a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, a third-party organization is gaining momentum. The No Labels group has successfully registered 15,000 voters in the pivotal state of Arizona and is on a path to expand its presence to all 50 states by Election Day.

Oh alright. You can write my name in for President. If drafted I'll serve.

Army veteran. (Unlike Trump)
Has held public office.
Pays taxes. (Unlike Trump)
Is 65. (TWENTY years younger than the two dementia sufferers.)
Will serve for FREE - and instead of donating salary to charity I will return it to the taxpayers.
Small business owner.
Drives a pickup truck.
Doesn't own a jet or house on the beach like the other guys.
IS NOT UNDER INDICTMENT!

Platform:
EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL regardless of color, gender, or anything else.
Restoration of the 2nd Amendment as written. Order your machine gun now.
Restoration of the 1st Amendment. Anyone banning / burning books will be put in stocks in the town square.
Women's right to control their bodies.
We will stop squandering tax money.
Free medical for all.
Creation of a nuclear iron dome to stop the threat of armegedon once and for all.
Nationalize all mineral and oil resources for the good of the people, not multinational companies.
Redistrubution of wealth from every oligarch with over twenty million dollars.
Worker ownership of companies, CEO's to earn not more that ten times the lowest paid employee.
Free education to bachelors degree.
Elimination of right wing religious charter school madrassas. Only public education. Stop the brainwashing.
Total revision of the FOR PROFIT criminal justice and private prison industry.
Removal of all corrupt judges.
Arrest of any legislator or political candidate threatening death, injury or to kill other politicians. (Trump, Gosar, etc..)

OK my hat is in the ring. Let's see who supports me.

Accepting donations via pay pal, or cash. Small, untraceable bills preferred.

A third party would be a blessing. We don't even have a 2 party system though, it's the "uniparty" vs us. The swamp is real. In a bygone era, it was referred to as a den of vipers.

I'm not so sure an actual independent candidate would be allowed to proceed very far. The media more or less decides who the bulk of the American people have exposure to. They are doing a lot of favors for Trump by keeping his name fresh on everyone's mind. And of course, Biden is the president, so they have to talk about him. When was the last time media devoted any time to a 3rd party candidate, and why would they start now? I think Ross Perot was the last 3rd party candidate to get much exposure during election season.

This does put the media in a tight place where they have to talk about him and give him some exposure. They were devoting very little time to him when he was running as a democrat. It's clear the DNC and the media wanted this guy to go away. Probably much more so now.

For an independent to have any chance we need ranked choice voting to be more widespread.
