UN wants a universal digital ID for your data
Humanitarians and tech companies say a digital form of identification would be particularly useful for refugees separated from their personal documents.
I can see why many in developed countries like Canada, UA, England, etc. would have an issue with this concept.
It does seem another piece of the puzzle in a 'big brother' world.
I get their point that many people don't have the right kind of ID but not sure a global digital program is the solution.

The CNET article is from 2017 but still is relevant. They are going to keep trying outright or slip stuff in treaties, deals, programs etc.
Makes sense to me — how can the UN, WEF or US Federal Leftists freeze bank accounts of “ wrong thinkers” without an ID Code that any of them could use at their Whim? They would use the same ID Code for any Accounts dealing with Money. Portfolios, Credit Cards, possibly Trust Accounts & Safety Deposit Boxes.
We already know there are Open Warrants, no Privacy Laws, Search & Seizure is Okey-Dokey for “wrong thinkers” and/or Political Opponents.
Remember when Macrone in Canada got his knickers in a twist over Truck Drivers?
He Locked them out of their Bank Accounts.
Money is going to go digital any time now...sooner than most think as all the banks have pilot programs going with hybrid digital/fiat money processing. Almost everyone has cell phones now...even the 6.5 million new "refugees" that came here in the past 2 years.
That needs to be voluntary. And, I think, escheatment should also be voluntary. When you sign up for a bank or investment account you should be able to instruct them not to confiscate your money for 10 or 20 years after not hearing from you.
The source is Zero-Hedge which is 10 reasons to ignore it. It's just click-bait fantasy for low information voters.
Anyone with intelligence knows the UN General Assembly has no power and no authority to do anything so they can pass all the inane nonsensical resolutions it wants and nothing will happen very slowly.
Only the UN Security Council has any authority and since Russia and China have veto power, it'll never happen. One current temporary member is Switzerland, so that's a No-vote.
I don't think you should necessarily ignore Russian propaganda. You should, however, just recognize it for what it is.

So instead of transferring the wealth of 1st world countries to 3rd world countries this scheme could be used to expedite the wholesale migration of millions of inbred and illiterate people from over there to the front porches of the "wealthy" nations of the world.
We all have witnessed our own traitorous government in bed with conceited globalist oligarchs
What's to stop a Biden or a Harris or a Newsome from incorporating this technology into our government systems and overwhelming our economy?
Big Brother is a piker compared to this evil.
