We all need to stay at home on June 13th and June 20th-
No Driving and No Flying - Everybody - Just stay home on these 2 days and just maybe the big Oil Company's wil stop raising the Gas Prices.
Everybody can talk and complain all we want but if we don't do anything about the big Oil Company's they will keep raising the Gas Prices.
Some people are saying if I were in charge I would do this or do that to stop the raising Gas prices. Just one person complaining won't work.
Apparently we can't seem to car pool as much as we should BUT if EVERYBODY would POOL together On June 13th and June 20th and stay home, maybe the Oil Company's will stop the every day raising prices.
Remember - Tell Everybody You Know to stay at home June 13th and
June 20th as it should lower the gas prices or at least keep them from going up any higher.
We need to try something and this is one way that Everbody in the United States can speak up. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

Stay at home on June 13th and June 20th.
No Driving and no Flying Just Stay Home and Just Maybe the Big Oil Company's will stop raising the Gas Prices on a daily basis.
Tell Everybody you know to Stay Home on June 13th and June 20th.
This is one way Everybody Can speak up saying Enough is Enough!
Rather then Everybody complaining about the prices and not doing anything about it, lets all Pool together and Stay Home June 13th and June 20th.
REMEMBER tell Everybody you know to Stay Home on June 13th and June 20th
Also tell Everybody you know to tell Everybody they konw to take the 2 days off (June 13th and June 20th ) an just Stay At Home.

Some of us grownups have to work for a living. That's why we have cars, which need gas to operate.

We can't all be stay at home losers drinking Obamania Kool Aid.

Should we have nationalized oil instead? Just look at Mexico. Protesting doesn't solve the bigger issue that has nothing to do with the oil companies.

I deliver medical products that keep people alive. Don't count on me. Best to wait until the new electric powered and possibly solar powered cars have a battery life and top speed that makes it worth while to own such a vehicle. Right now the average electric car has a top speed of about 30 mph and can only go about 30 to 35 miles before the battery needs to be recharged. That should change in five years.

These "gas strikes" get circulated around in emails and message boards ALL THE TIME. They're nonsense. 1) nobody participates, or even wants to participate, and 2) if "everyone" participated in a gas strike it wouldn't bring about the desired outcome.

I'm not staying home those two days. I have a job and a life. But I take subways, so I guess I'm helping?

Watch this thread whither and die and stay tuned for the next thread, titled "GAS STRIKE JULY!! WE'LL SHOW 'EM THIS TIME!"

Hey everybody! Sign up for a basic economics class in college on June 13th or 20th that way you can at least be half way educated on economics instead of posting stupid stuff like this!

You have got to be kidding me.

Pemex uses taxpayers money to function and they function very inefficently to the point Mexico is talking of privatizing part of it.

Pemex could be way more efficent if it was privatized, even if part of it was.

Mexico has cheaper fuel because they implement cost control, subsidized by taxpayers which in turn, because of government interference on all levels of the economy, keeps the country forever poor, hence why so many flock up here for work.

Mexico has created a very stark rich/poor divide which is the same result with all socialist economies.

Why is it people still to this day think the governemnt is the answer to everything?

If you don't like the oil companies and the product they deliver, then don't buy from them then.

By the way, mexico supplies us oil at guess what price? The world market price.

Pemex is so screwed up from years of mismanagment it will take millions to even get them up to the standard of the private oil companies in terms of efficency.

Exxon is one of the world's smallest oil companies, they provide 3% of the world's oil supply, hardly a factor in the world oil market. Considering they are making a 7% profit margin, I would hardly call that a huge margin.
