... that we are still a nation of laws - not preferences, not diversity, and not freebies (at least not yet)

"These Supreme Court Rulings Should Remind Us..."

That Common Sense is being a little more restored.

These Supreme Court Rulings reminds us that when you know how the verdict will turn out based on the party that chose them, the Supreme Court is exposed as completely political. I would have no problem expanding the court and eliminating what Trump has done to the country. Republicans would do it in a heartbeat. Long term, the country will split.

Take a look at the states in the South that constantly have their hands out for government money. Take a look at what states contribute to keep those Southern states afloat. It's time to bring a case to the Supreme Court that challenges any states receiving more federal funds per capita than any other state. Either the court rules it will continue, or the court proves how completely hypocritical their rulings are.

You know, you're right about the Republicans, they do take money from the rich. What you and your ilk don't understand is the the democrats take their money from the poor and middle class and when you grow up, you'll realize that.

Remember when the Democrats used to blame the Russians for the current makeup of the Supreme Court? That Trump was compromised by Russia?

That narrative is now completely dead. It took years, culminating with the Durham report, but at least we finally got there.

Gorsuch, Kavanaugh ,and Barrett are legitimate justices and Russia had nothing to do with it.

Sorry you blew all your stimulus cash on frivolous things instead of paying the debt that you agreed to repay.

Lol

How can you say this when two “justices” are pay-for-play grifters? Another two shouldn’t be sitting on the court. The GOP effectively stole their seats.

You are just wrong on multiple levels here.

I may not mind seeing that one.

Sorry... not sorry...

Again - my statement is about law and order.

The Colorblind Constitution Prevails

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled on the constitutionality of racial discrimination in the college admissions process, which over the past five decades had become a defining feature of higher education in this country. The court decided in favor of the Constitution, sanity, and fairness, and eviscerated a regime that sought to remedy the legacy of racism in this country with more of it.

...
The most important aspect of the ruling, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, is the affirmation that the Fourteenth Amendment, which guarantees to all citizens the equal protection of the law, means that the same law applies in the same way to every person—without regard to race. The Court rejected the so-called antisubordination view, which holds that the Fourteenth Amendment forbids only laws that hurt minorities, not those that help them—that is, that different treatment under the same law is permissible in light of historical inequities.

They made clear that the law guarantees equality of opportunity, not outcome. Justice Clarence Thomas, in his concurrence, addressed this point powerfully.

It should also remind us that liberal justices ignore the law and vote along political lines.

IF we are a NATION OF LAWS, let's see if the law is enforced against Joe, Hunter, the DOJ, and the FBI!

I'm just a regular citizen and could not be happier with the 3 Supreme Court decisions made.

Just about anyone can lead a "normal prosperous life" if they put the effort towards it.

Instead of having Mommy and Daddy (the Government) taking care of citizens like the Democrats want.
