With the hundreds of genders the liberals have made up, they have this "cis" designation for normal people.

Gays have objected to the slurs used to describe gays, yet appear to be quite pleased at generating insulting labels to categorize other people.

Does anyone else find the term "cis" to be insulting and not a favorable label conferred by the "LGBTQ or whatever" community?

Also, why in the world does someone need to wear their sexuality on their shirt sleeve? Most people I know defined themselves by their occupation, education, family, or devotion to some special interest or talent, but NOT SEXUALITY. Is this pre-occupation with sexuality as a defining part of one's being healthy?

It’s pointless. The words women and men don’t need the qualifier word of “cis”.

Don't lump gay people, who see themselves being gay as an attribute, rather than an identity, in with the rest of the mentally-ill people.

The "LGB" need to divorce themselves from the "TQ+". They really have nothing in common.

The use of "cis" is an attempt to bring us normal people down to their level, which I refuse to do so. There are only two non-interchangeable genders.

"Cis" is a Latin prefix. I would have figured a doctor would know that.

It's a scientific thing and has nothing to do with the similarly pronounced word "sis".

"In 2015, the Oxford English Dictionary added the word “cisgender” to its ever-evolving listing. It defines the adjective as “designating a person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds to his or her sex at birth” and is contrasted with “transgender.”

The “cis-” prefix—pronounced “sis”—was not manufactured by some progressive think-tank the year before, as some might believe. Its origin is much older, acting as the yin to the much more popular trans’ yang. Our vocabulary has been suffused with the prefix “trans-,” from “transaction” to “Transylvania.” Its sibling has shied away from the English language by comparison, with one notable exception: the scientific world.

You're going on the internet (a cesspool mis-representative of greater society), and using that information to paint all LGBTQ people with a broad brush. Most of these folks are just everyday people out on the street. Such preoccupation is unhealthy, which includes identity and politics of all sorts.

As for the word, linguistically speaking, cis- is just the natural latin antithesis of trans-. So no, it doesn't bother me.

I'm more annoyed with the constant relabeling of terms and the long game plan of the Marxist left then I am of the actual labels per se. Call me whatever, just dont call me late for dinner.

You, I, and everyone's fat brother knows that the newer usage of the term has differing use and meaning now.

This! There is no need to add anything to Women and Men.

However, cis is used as a form of harassment frequently on Twitter and at other times used as a slur. It's pretty bad.
