then you'd have no problem bringing religion back into schools then, right?....it's that slippery respect thing
Religion was never taught in public schools. But it's about teaching respect and acceptance for human beings who are different from you, because no one is better than anyone else. Many don't believe in god because they don't believe in an unknown entity. So no, it's not a slippery respect thing.
Some of the best teachers I had thought me life lessons outside of what their curriculum was. Things my parents didn’t teach.
Teachers aren’t robots.
But times have changed. There are now teachers and schools with nefarious intent. It's one thing if the teacher is a genuine soul, in which case he or she would not need a law compelling such teaching. Also, there is no need to specify LBGT. And - a big one - the Q+ Are these people going to only instill respect and courtesy for others or they going to indoctrinate and/or groom them?
No issues from me. I support teaching inclusivity and about treating LGBT individuals with respect, etc. That's what I've seen such lessons cover in my own experience.
Why is this being taught to CHILDREN who don't have the mental capacity to understand sexuality at all? It's child abuse and your complicit with it. Pure evil.

Surely you jest. Kids are born curious about everything, especially about their own bodies. They deserve straight answers, not denial.
Yes. NeFarious. Does Fox use the same term? Good on them. They obviously know something. Never heard Gutfeld or Watters use that term. Not that I watch Watters much and Gutfeld runs a comedy show.

Neither the schools nor the state has any business 'teaching' sexuality to the kids. They do deserve straight answers - from their parents or guardians.

Kids have always figured things out when they're ready
Forcing things on them they can't understand is abusive. They should be teaching math, reading, history and science not Tranny or LGBTQxyz INDOCTRINATION and grooming. Again. Abuse!
If a state can BAN such teaching - i.e., Florida - I'm guessing another state can certainly require it. Works both ways, you know.
If I were a parent with a child in school (I'm not), I would vastly prefer the required teaching.
Why? Couldn't you discuss this with your child at home? Why do you need the schools to do this? I would much rather schools do what schools used to do. TEACH. That is teaching academic subjects not turning the school day into a social laboratory with the kids being the lab rats.
